My Dream is to be a Teacher
Since I was a child, I have always admired teachers. They were the people who inspired me to be curious, to learn new things and to be my best. As I grew older, my admiration for teachers only grew stronger and I realized that my dream was to become a teacher myself. And not just any teacher, but an English teacher.
Being an English teacher is a great privilege as I can help people learn the language of the world. I think of myself as a facilitator, someone who unlocks the door for learners to explore and express themselves in English in a way they never thought possible. Knowing English opens doors for people and provides opportunities to pursue a higher education, to travel, to communicate with people from all around the world and to build a better future for themselves.
To achieve my dream, I have been studying hard and have obtained my Bachelor’s degree in English. I also took extra language courses to improve my language skills and have learned how to teach English as a second language. Furthermore, I have practiced teaching informally to my friends and classmates, and my positive feedback has helped me to gain confidence and affirmation that this is indeed what I want to do. I believe that the best way to teach English is to make the language come alive, to use interactive methods, to make it fun, and to encourage the learners to use English outside of the classroom setting.
Teaching is not an easy job. There are times when it is challenging, stressful, and exhausting. But, I have learned that it can also be incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. When I see my students progress, succeed, and gain confidence in their English abilities, that makes it all worth it. Additionally, I get to learn from my students too; their perspectives and knowledge in different fields enrich my life and make me a better person.
My dream of becoming an English teacher is not only about the career benefits, but also about the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives. I believe that teaching is a noble profession that can contribute to making the world a better place, and I am honored to be pursuing this path.
In conclusion, my dream is to be an English teacher and help people learn a new language that will open doors for them. Through my studies, practice teaching, and passion, I know that this is what I am meant to do. Although the road may not always be easy, I am confident that my perseverance and dedication will lead me to success.
